Memory Verse of the Month - 2025
We’re back with another year or Memory Verses of the Month! If this is your first time hearing about it go check out my blog post last year on why I started this and each month from 2024. Each month I will add a new memory verse on this page along with a coloring sheet and writing sheet for kids who need some practice!
What I learned from last year, kids can memorize Bible verses! I know it seems like they can’t remember the last thing you told them…anyone else? But the truth is they are fully capable of memorizing God’s Word and they need to. We worked on each verse for the full month and truly not each day, but maybe every two days or so. We also started out (I got a little lazy towards the end of the year) by reading the chapters where the verses were found and doing a little devotional about them. I have self led devotional assets on the blog post from 2024 using the SOAP method.
Follow along here and on my YouTube channel for more on these because this year I’m going to make it a point to discuss it all in more detail each month! I also have a new document called the Kids Prayer Guide that I’ve put together to teach our kids how to pray on their own. More about that coming soon!
