Kids Holy Week Study
Each day, you will walk through the Gospel account of Matthew, following the events leading up to Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection.
We are following the Gospel of Matthew because it presents a clear, straightforward timeline of Jesus’ final week. Each day also includes references to all four Gospel accounts, allowing you to explore how each one uniquely tells the story.
There will be a brief summary for each day, along with review questions, activities (supplies for each activity can be found on page 36), and prayer points to use during your devotion time. Each day also includes facts about the events you read, which you can share with your child as they work on their activity or throughout the day to help them understand things they might not.
This study does not cover every point of Jesus’ walk, but my hope is that your child will see the big picture of how this week connects to Resurrection Sunday and understand what Jesus walked through to offer us the greatest gift of all, eternal life.
